DryMonitor ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free mobile application that estimates indoor humidity levels based on user inputs and weather data. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

a) Location Data

With your permission, DryMonitor accesses your device's approximate location to fetch local weather data (outdoor humidity and temperature). This location data is sent only to third-party weather APIs to retrieve current conditions. We do not store, log, or transmit your location to our own servers.

b) User Inputs

You provide room size, AC type, AC capacity, daily runtime, and window status. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server.

c) Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports. This helps us improve the app. Firebase may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general usage patterns. You can learn more in Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

d) Advertising Data

DryMonitor displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device advertising identifiers, IP address, and general interaction data to serve relevant ads. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Location is used solely to fetch weather data for humidity estimation.
• User inputs are used solely for on-device dryness calculation.
• Analytics data is used to understand app usage and fix bugs.
• Advertising data is managed by Google AdMob to display ads.

3. Data Storage

DryMonitor does not have its own servers or databases. All calculations happen on your device. We do not store any personal data. Analytics and advertising data are managed by Google's Firebase and AdMob services respectively.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Open-Meteo — Weather data (Terms)
• Google Firebase — Analytics and crash reporting (Privacy)
• Google AdMob — Advertising (Privacy)

5. Children's Privacy

DryMonitor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

6. Your Choices

• Location: You can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. The app will not be able to fetch weather data without it.
• Personalized Ads: You can opt out through your device's ad settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android).
• Analytics: You can limit analytics collection by disabling usage data sharing in your device settings.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, the risk of data breaches from our side is minimal. Third-party services (Firebase, AdMob) maintain their own security measures.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
